Updating a layer

When a newer version of a shapefile becomes available, the user can update it to the server by using the update tool.

Please note:

There are three conditions for updating a shapefile.

The file structure should be the same as the old version,
The field/column descriptions should match the old version. Additional new ones can be added.
The file type (e.g. line, point) should be the same

The user can access the update tool by right-clicking on the old version in the list of layers and select the "Update Data from Shapefile".

The old version will be replace by the new version.
